Miles to go before I sleep

Fall has come and wrapped it’s darkness around us.

Beneath a warm blanket of dry leaves my soul interweaves with the spirit currently inhabiting my body. The fire alarm turn to bird song and the sound of traffic, hauntingly beautiful beating a thousand starlets wings.

This is my story and I’m sticking to it, I said to myself, my mumbling barely audible through the leaves. Got up, walked the dog just missing the rains
